Marjorie Page
Head Cashier

Mother of two. Joined Lorraine’s Pharmacy in 1987.  As head cashier, Marj is responsible for all the other cashiers as well as for ordering and stocking the extensive magazine and Hallmark Card sections at Lorraine’s Pharmacy.  Marj is one of the more customer-oriented employees in the front store, where she can often be heard laughing along with customers and keeping the mood pleasant for shoppers.  However, you know when things are getting busy and there is no time for small talk when you hear Marj calling out “Barb!!!” from the front cash! 

Outside of the pharmacy, Marj is a dedicated wife and mother who enjoys spending time with her family; husband – Tony, and two children – Wendy and Damian.  Marj’s hobbies include gardening, reading, and decorating her home.  However, Marj’s favorite thing to do is attend Bingo with the girls.  In fact, she’s also known as the “Bingo Queen”!

Lorraine Flynn

Mother of three. Joined Lorraine’s Pharmacy in 2002.  Lorraine is one of the friendliest staff members at Lorraine’s Pharmacy.  She is most often found chatting it up with customers at the front cash as she serves them.

Outside of pharmacy, Lorraine is a dedicated wife and mother who enjoys spending time with her family; husband – Pat, three children – Dawn, Patrick, and Erin, as well as her grandchildren, Olivia and Kayla.  Lorraine’s hobbies include cooking, camping, wine making, and crafts.

 

 

 

Barbara Prince
Cashier

Mother of three. Joined Lorraine’s Pharmacy in 1994.  Barb is considered one of the hardest working employees at Lorraine’s Pharmacy where she always keeps busy.  Aside from her duties on cash, she is most often roaming the isles with a shopping cart in tow, full of stock to put out, or doing other projects for Peter or Donna.  She is a considered a Jack-of-all-trades at the pharmacy.

Outside of the pharmacy, Barb is a dedicated wife and mother who enjoys spending time with her family; husband – Brian, and three children – Jennifer, Stacey, and Philip, not to mention her four grandchildren.  Barb’s hobbies include reading and playing cards, and she is an avid animal lover (3 dogs and 1 cat!).  However, we think Barb should have her own home improvement show, as there’s nothing she won’t try.  She’s been known to replace her own drywall, pour concrete, clean the chimney, or anything else you throw at her.  Go Barb!

Marilyn McMillan
Head Photo Technician

Mother to two. Joined Lorraine’s Pharmacy in 2008 as head photo technician.  Marilyn is a very helpful and cheerful person who enjoys the challenges of working in Barry’s Bay Photo.  She has fit in very nicely with the Lorraine’s Pharmacy staff and they are happy to have her on board.

Outside of the pharmacy, Marilyn enjoys spending time with her husband Bill, family and friends.  Being Nana to Ryan, Morgan and Cassie is a true joy for Marilyn.  She also enjoys traveling south, shopping, visiting with friends, taking pictures and outdoor activities such as gardening, downhill skiing, and four-wheeling.  F.Y.I. – Marilyn’s nickname is “Smiley” for the obvious reason that she is smiling all the time (duh!).  Call her Smiley the next time you see her in photo and see if she answers the call . . . ;-)

Sarah Visneskie
Stock Room Assistant

Joined Lorraine’s Pharmacy in 2009.  Sarah is one of the shyer staff members at Lorraine’s Pharmacy.  But not too shy; whenever Peter gets on her nerves she is quick to tell him where to go or what to do!  She is most often found helping Donna with purchasing and receiving.

Outside of pharmacy, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family.  Sarah’s hobbies include reading, crossword search, movies, canoeing, and being the #1 hockey fan for the Ottawa Senators (she loves Alfredsson).  Oh her days off she really enjoys doing her favorite chore, the family laundry.  Seriously!  She says, “I’ll do your laundry too for the right price!”
